6:30PM on Wednesday, February 13 at 6:30 PM, and will be held at ShiftPGH

BuiltinPgh presents Speak Freely: Founders’ Spotlight, a monthly series of frank interviews with notable, local entrepreneurs sharing their stories about building a successful startup in Pittsburgh.

This month, we’re excited to have with us Thread founder, Ian Rosenberger.

Thread LLC was founded in 2011 to turn trash from some of the poorest places in the world into jobs and useful stuff people love. Thread is focused on the triple bottom line of people, planet, and profit to create opportunity for cleaner, safer, and healthier communities as a direct result of profitable business. Thread is headquartered in Pittsburgh and currently operates in Port-au-Prince, Haiti but plans to scale this model to other locations as it refines its operations, identifies profitable markets, and develops capacity.

The event is Wednesday, Feb. 13 at 6:30 PM, and will be held at ShiftPGH, 111 N Whitfield, 2nd Flr Pittsburgh PA 15206.
