Angel Resource Institute: Valuation of Early Stage Companies
In conjunction with the Angel Resource Institute (ARI), co-founded by the Kauffman Foundation and multiple angel investment groups, the Pittsburgh Technology Council is hosting this interactive half-day seminar.
What is it worth? This is probably the most important question an investor and entrepreneur will ask and answer before executing an investment in a company. The answer often leads to the life or death of a deal. The determination of the value of a company is as much an art as it is science. Mastering both takes experience and knowledge. Fortunately, the Angel Resource Institute has both. To help you conquer the ability to properly value early stage companies, and after completing and founding 50+ angel deals and startups (as well as 4 angel investment groups), renowned angel investor Bill Payne has now developed the Angel Resource Institute workshop, Valuation of Early Stage Companies.
The workshop is taught by the Angel Resource Institute’s renowned faculty of certified lead instructors. Each lead instructor has at least 10 years or more of angel investing experience, leading early stage companies and managing angel investment groups.
Like all of ARI’s programs the content of Valuation of Early Stage Companies is based on the experiences and best practices of the Angel Capital Association’s (ACA) 190 member groups that represent approximately 9,000 individual investors. Program attendees have the confidence that ARI’s program content is vetted and solid.
